I've been doing a lot of intergenerational policy work these last few years and I just want to invoke Yuval Hariri-Richard Dawkins privileges to make a few sweeping observations about the world. I know they're broad and big but, yeah. I think one major generational gap is that people who were born before the 1980s, and who lived through the Cold War especially look at the world today and mostly think that everything has gotten better, and all we need is a handful of tweaks to get us back on track.
