A beautiful woman who happens to be taller than Putin when in heels is leading Finland to NATO.

If you've paid attention to the history of Putin's misogynist remarks, you can practically hear the gnashing of teeth in the Kremlin. “What do her looks have to do with it?”

Everything.

Putin broadly views women as part of two categories: Dumb but attractive ho’s who exist to produce babies and sexless harpies.

Sanna Marin must be very confusing and annoying in that regard.

Imagine I like your house.

I take over your living room. Am raiding your snack bowls. Watching your Hulu

Am screaming that I deserve more bc you’re a bad homeowner. I found lint in your couch

Our other neighbor is like, “Give her your downstairs closet. Maybe she’ll calm down” You’re like, “This is crazy.”

I’m like, “Lint in couch! Stain on the carpet! You bought the wrong organic food for the dog! THIS HOUSE SHOULD BY ALL RIGHTS BE MINE.”

Our neighbor is like, “No, these are legitimate concerns, sort of. I mean, the wrong organic food…”

If you want a “tradwife” because you think it will make you more “masculine,” you need therapy.

Happy couples work out arrangements that suit them best. Some women prefer to stay at home.

What isn’t healthy is thinking that *someone else* can make you strong. There’s an entire cottage industry built around teaching men how to find and conquer “submissive, feminine women.”

The idea is that it will make you happy.

Put down the protein powder and listen to me, boo — these people have it backwards. Happiness starts with *you*

We have a burrito in a paper bag, and the cat is stalking it.

Bag makes a noise, we turn, cat pretends to be grooming herself.

Putin-level tactical approach. “The West inflames tensions by placing a burrito on my borders. Hate to see anything happen to it.” Cat begs for food

Since everyone is discovering accomplished women in history who should NOT be celebrated — meet Darya Saltykova.

Russian noblewoman, mother, noted philanthropist & sadistic serial killer and torturer.

Her worst tortures were reserved for good-looking female serfs. Saltykova torturing a female serf Darya was born in the wealthy Davydov family.

She married Gleb Saltykov, a man from an even richer family, when she was 20.

We don’t know much about her early days — but we do know that her marriage seemed normal and she bore two sons.

Gleb died when she was just 26.

After months of making sexualized comments about me & implying that I am paid by the Russian government to act as a honey pot, Jason Dunlap, who is ex-intel, is tweeting this from behind a block.

This is disgusting and I’m tired of this man and his equally vile friends. What do [group of people including me] have in common beside This harasser and misogynist is feeding info to “experts” who should know better.

How is any of this OK? I am so, so tired of putting up with this.

It’s not funny. It impacts me as a woman. It impacts my work.

One of my favorite parts of Lion King is when the hyenas turn on Scar.

There is wisdom there, children:

When a baby-dicked coward tries to play Machiavelli with a bunch of rabid dogs, it all spins out of control eventually
☺️ Similar dynamics play out in the Soviet classic, “The Republic of ShKID”

A manipulative coward harnesses the power of the biggest bullies in a commune for difficult teenagers & builds a mini-empire.

But he goes too far. It becomes unsustainable.

The bullies turn him out.

No.

Next question. Yes, it’s 5 a.m. on a Sunday in Washington D.C. and I’m up and thinking about Kaliningrad.

I do it all for the republic 😤

Merry Christmas!

I was denied unemployment twice, can't qualify for aid & the blood disease I live with has gone from manageable to unmanageable

If just 200 of you subscribed to this (useful, imo) newsletter at $5, I wouldn't face potential eviction.

nataliaantonova.substack.com/p/that-random-… I really love doing the work I do, especially because part of helps families with difficult cases involving online scams.

This in particular is a case I want to draw your attention to.

It's important, because older people are frequent targets.

When bad feelings are denied, they fester.

It’s like having a monster in the room, and trying to ignore it as it feeds on you and thus grows more powerful.

globalcomment.com/so-what-if-it-… People of many political persuasions fall into this particular trap — I see it among conservatives, with their tough-love attitude, and among liberals, with their platitudes
