I was accosted by a man for wearing a keffiyeh in solidarity with my Palestinian friend today.
Him: You like Hamas, huh, you like terrorists. You want to kill Jews.
Me: I am a Jew.
Him: No you are not.
Me: Genocide is not a Jewish value
Him: You were a Jew. My rabbi says he hopes you come back to us.
Me: And I hope you remember your Jewish values …
Him: (Enraged and being pulled away by his friend) SHAME ON YOU! Imagine attacking someone wearing a kippah and shouting her down when she said genocide is against her values. What would you call that.
