I have a couple friends who I know will not visit me because they know I will ask them to wear a mask inside my house.
Every 3-6 months they ask if I can go out to a bar, and I explain the same thing, and then they leave me on read. 1/ That’s not a systemic choice. They make an individual choice that they don’t want to see me sick, and they are damn sure not going to wear a mask for the 1hr and 30 minutes they might come over.
They want me to be “normal” and/or as special as I was before I got sick.

During the Nuremberg trials, Nazis would say the prisoners that died from disease were only the elderly&children who always get sick anyway. And besides food is hard to get during wartime.
It’s a cornerstone argument in Holocaust denial. Whenever you see the “It was more like 2 million or 1 million” that’s what they are doing.
Subtracting people that died from disease.
Or “There weren’t that many concentration camps!” They are subtracting the factories that leased prisoners of larger camps for labor.
