6 years on from the murder of my constituent Samia Shahid in Pakistan, we are yet to receive any justice.

Sadly, after years of fighting for this case, I think there is little hope that the justice system in Pakistan will ever give Samia the justice she deserves.

đź§µ thread On 14 July 2016, Bradford girl Samia Shahid flew to Pakistan to visit her family. 6 days later she was found dead.

Mark Field must be suspended from the Conservative Party & the Whip. Action should be taken against Tory MPs defending him (listed below). These comments normalise violence against women. He grabbed a woman by the neck and pushed her up against a pillar. There is no excuse. 1/10 Crispin Blunt MP said Mark Field should be “commended” for his violence towards a woman, which appears to be assault. 2/10
