1. The most shocking thing to know is that it has a societal nod to it. It is perpetuated by society, leaders and daily folks.
In the light of the #PakistaniGroomingGangs scandal, without the society being complicit, 250,000 girls could not have been ritually abused and rap3d over the years.
Abuse has a triad. It consists of the victim, the perpetrator, and the enabler.2. In the #groomingscandal the enablers are clearly entrenched in society from the top leaders, the police, the social workers and the onlookers.
An enabler is a person or a group of people (society) that allows or makes it possible for something negative or destructive to happen.
For example, a parent who allows the other parent to abuse their children is an enabler. A society whose leaders allow for rap3s and abuse to happen are also enablers.
