Power to our overhead lines has been turned off due to water from the aqueduct in the Bishopton area rushing onto them from above. The video attached captures the severity of the situation. We will update you further on the flow of water from the aqueduct as soon as we can. Here's the current situation at #Bishopton. For fairly obvious reasons, we can't return power to the 25,000 volt overhead power lines until the flow of water stops. #StormDennis

#StormDennis Our monitoring equipment has detected rapidly rising water levels at Inver, north of Dunkeld. If it continues to increase, we may need to suspend services until water levels drop again. #StormDennis Water levels at Inver are now 1cm below the safety limit, the line between Perth & Pitlochry currently closed.

With possession granted after close of service last night, work got underway to remove and replace bridge deck on #BonhillRd #Dumbarton.

Work is being delivered during 54hr closure of the line today and tomorrow. Among the first tasks was to stone the road to level off camber underneth the structure to allow bridge transporter access to take weight of bridge deck - which has been pre cut.

We have also cleared the cables at track level to enable removal of deck #BonhillRd #Dumbarton
