I'm suing @HeartbeatIntl and 11 crisis pregnancy centers across New York for illegally advertising and promoting an abortion reversal treatment.
Abortions cannot be reversed, and this treatment could be incredibly dangerous.
@HeartbeatIntl is an anti-abortion group that works with crisis pregnancy centers to convince pregnant people to take an "Abortion Pill Reversal" treatment.
They claim the treatment is safe and effective, but there's no scientific proof and medical experts warn that it’s unsafe.

Donald Trump illegally profited off his years of financial fraud.
As we close our case, we're asking the court to make Trump pay $370 million in ill-gotten gains.
Everyday Americans can't lie and cheat the system for their own personal profit, and neither can former presidents.
Trump, his sons, and partners have made clear that they will keep committing fraud if given the chance.
We cannot give them that chance. We are asking the court to:

#BREAKING: My office secured $328 million from @Uber and @Lyft for cheating its drivers out of years of pay and benefits.
This money will go back to over 100,000 hardworking people who deserve to be paid what they earned.
We found that @Uber and @Lyft took money out of their drivers' paychecks and prevented them from receiving valuable benefits they were entitled to.
They even failed to give their drivers paid sick leave as required by law.

Today, my office and a nationwide coalition of AGs are suing @Meta for harming kids with its platforms and fueling the youth mental health crisis.
We're going to end Meta's behavior and keep our kids safe online. ⤵️
Meta has claimed its platforms are safe for kids, but in reality, it knew its features were harmful.
The company designed its platforms with manipulative features that hook children while collecting data on kids under 13 without parental consent, violating child protection laws.

We're suing four nursing homes run by @CentersHealth and their owners and operators for allegedly pocketing over $83 million in taxpayer money that should have been used for resident care.
As a result, residents suffered greatly, were endangered, and even died.
Residents were forced to live in horrific conditions at:
- Beth Abraham Center in the Bronx.
- Holliswood Center in Queens.
- Buffalo Center in Erie County.
-Martine Center in Westchester.

I'm in Hempstead to announce a lawsuit against Red Rose Rescue, an anti-abortion group, for illegally invading reproductive health care clinics in New York and disrupting services and terrorizing patients.
Every New Yorker has the right to safely access reproductive care.
Red Rose Rescue and its members have repeatedly infiltrated clinics on Long Island and in Westchester, threatening staff and patients.
They make fake appointments to gain access to clinics and then hijack the facilities to stop all services until they are physically removed.

This weekend marks the one-year anniversary of the horrific, racist attack at Tops grocery store in Buffalo.
Today, I’m suing @MeanArms, a gun parts maker, for its role in aiding the shooter in that attack.
Mean Arms makes and sells the MA Lock, a removable gun lock that's marketed as a device to lock a magazine onto a semiautomatic rifle.
But the lock can be easily removed to install high-capacity magazines. Mean Arms provides simple directions to remove the lock.

New Yorkers are dealing with growing costs for basic and essential goods.
Today, my office is announcing new proposed rules to bolster our ability to stop price gouging and large corporations from preying on New Yorkers and small businesses.
Our proposals include:
- Setting a specific threshold for price increases of essential goods during an emergency.
- Creating guardrails for companies that rely on dynamic pricing.
- Making companies show their costs to justify price increases.

Dr. King envisioned a world where all our diverse communities would join together. Today, I had the honor of recognizing #MLKDay by doing just that.
It was great to stop by @bx_uniongrove today to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the Bronx.
I joined @BAM_Brooklyn for its annual event to pay tribute to the legacy of Dr. King.
Dr. King's work touched every corner of our society, and his message has been carried on through music and the arts as an instrument of change.

New York: Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Attorney General for four more years.
It is my profound honor to pledge my service again, and to commit to fighting for all of you.
Four years ago, I made a commitment to use this office as a force for justice and to never be afraid to take on powerful forces.
That’s exactly what we did.

I'm suing Cold Spring Hills, a Long Island nursing home, for allegedly taking $22.6 million in government funds meant for resident care for their own personal profit.
This is the third nursing home we have sued in the past month to protect vulnerable New Yorkers.
The owners and operators of Cold Spring Hills engaged in years of fraud and self-dealing.
They neglected and hurt residents, understaffed the facility, and created poor working conditions for its employees.

My office is suing Fulton Commons, a Long Island nursing home, and its owners and operators for allegedly taking over $16 million for their own personal gain.
As a result of this fraud, residents have been abused and mistreated for years.
The owners of Fulton Commons illegally took millions of dollars in government funds to enrich themselves instead of using the money for resident care.
They understaffed the facility, created inhumane conditions, and engaged in a devastating pattern of abuse and mistreatment.

Today, I'm suing The Villages, a nursing home in Western New York.
For years, the owners and operators of The Villages took over $18 million that should have been invested into the facility for their own personal gain, causing significant harm to its residents.
The Villages ignored the law and pocketed government funds at the expense of the health and safety of its residents.
Even before the pandemic, this led to chronic understaffing and inhumane conditions, with vulnerable residents being denied the most basic care.

Hy Cite Enterprises pressured Hispanic New Yorkers into buying their products, misled them about their refund policy, and refused to let them return products.
We're making them pay for their wrongdoing: Hy Cite will pay $300,000 and refund customers.
Any New Yorker who tried to return a product within 20 days of purchase from Hy Cite or its brands, Royal Prestige and Kitchen Charm, but was denied, should contact my office:
Our suit against Donald Trump and the Trump Org alleges a years-long financial fraud scheme.
Here’s how Trump generated false and misleading values on his annual financial statements, which were then used to pay lower taxes, guarantee loans, and get better insurance rates:
➡️Using objectively false numbers to calculate property values.
For example, Trump's apartment in Trump Tower is 10,996 square feet.
Yet, he said it was 30,000 square feet to value it at $327 million. A New York City apartment had never sold for that much.

Today, I filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump for engaging in years of financial fraud to enrich himself, his family, and the Trump Organization.
There aren't two sets of laws for people in this nation: former presidents must be held to the same standards as everyday Americans.
Actions have consequences. We're seeking to:
➡️Make Trump pay $250 million.
➡️Ban the Trumps from running NY businesses for good.
➡️Ban Trump and Trump Org from buying commercial real estate in NY for 5 yrs.
➡️We're making a criminal referral to the U.S. Dept of Justice.

It's great to be back in Syracuse today for the @NYSFair!
I'm proud to spend the day celebrating everything the fair and our state have to offer.
The @SyracuseNAACP works every day to advance communities of color in Central New York.
It was great to visit their booth and thank them for everything they do.

We're in Brooklyn to announce that we're holding Ink, a New York City landlord, accountable for preying on rent-stabilized tenants in low-income communities of color.
I won't allow anyone to cheat the system and exploit our neighbors.
For years, Ink bought dozens of rent-stabilized buildings and illegally tried to buy out tenants, repeatedly harassing those who refused to leave their homes.
Ink engaged in this campaign to illegally deregulate units and charge the highest rent the market would allow.

Former Chairman of the Erie County Democratic Committee Steve Pigeon has been sentenced to prison for a bribery scheme with former New York State Supreme Court Justice John Michalek.
We will always hold corrupt officials accountable regardless of political party.
For years, Pigeon bribed Michalek to influence judicial appointments and decisions.
Pigeon gave Michalek box tickets to sporting events, tickets for political fundraisers, and even secured jobs for Michalek's family members.
