I made a brief🧵from my perspective as people keep asking me about these findings (and I love discussing about this topic): 26% of older adults had changes in at least 1 cognitive domain 6 weeks after surgery, not a negligible number. This was unrelated to CSF changes in AD biomarkers and remains unknown what drives this dysfunction in these subjects...
