Worth emphasising that the key to safe & effective cannula neck rescue is familiarity with O2 delivery devices & technique allowing expiration VIA THE CANNULA (RapidO2 & Ventrain. NOT Manujet, Sanders or O2 via 3-way tap). This is controlled rate insufflation, not jet ventilation I'd also add that a Melker is not a device for managing CICO but something to be used once entry into the Green Zone has been achieved by insufflation via the cannula.

If you place a cannula during CICO, the next thing through it should be O2, not a wire.
