Stargate / LayerZero @StargateFinance @LayerZero_Labs

$STG if pumping hard, you heard about Stargate, layer 0 and the DEX that replaces all the DEXes,

Is it the future of blockchain? $STG to $moon?

Quick dive: tech + biz case

LayerZero is a protocol to transmit messages between blockchains.

These messages can be transactions, for example, a token transfer, or a swap.

Stargate is a bridge and DEX built on LayerZero.

Very interesting points of view from @Davidwoounbound
on @TheScoopPod podcast:

David Woo on why an American CBDC could be big trouble for Bitcoin $BTC [the title is a bit misleading though] To understand Bitcoin, you need to understand how it trades:
Correlation to:
- inflation expectations: +40%
- USD (DXY): -20% (inverse correlation)
- Nasdaq $NQ: 70% (!)

-> that's why $BTC did well over the past 2y

-> need macro outlook

Quick dive into $GMX

@GMX_IO is a decentralized perps exchange on Arbitrum and Avalanche.

Swaps + 30x perps with no slippage

By providing liquidity you could get 30+% APR on $BTC, $ETH, $USDC, $AVAX... šŸ™€
1/šŸ§µ Image Trades are executed against a pool of assets (think Hegic options).

Trades PnL is taken or added to the asset pool.
On average, total PnL is expected to be about 0.

So far traders have been mostly meh and the pool has accumulated extra funds.

@filecoin has transitioned from calibration net to mainnet at block 148,888 after a 200M ICO and 3 years of dev.

Within 24h of launch a majority of miners are already on strike and talk about a failed wedding and forks.

Why? (1/n) Filecoin is very complex and requires high-end hardware, including min 128GB mem.

Example of 1 miner, that is 3 servers with 2 computing and 1 storing, from @6block2
Price is a very high retail $40k (includes hosting and maintenance ), regular prices min. $20k, 350TB (2/n)
