RIA journalist Rostislav Zhuravlev "killed by a Ukrainian attack" was fighting in Donbas as a combatant since 2014. Shame on https://t.co/q3SCWzXAaIifj.org/media-centre/n…
@IFJGlobal can you please tell me how you define a journalist and how do you check your info before posting this kind "information"?

for people with memory and critical thinking of a gold fish, here is a dive back into the so-called Surkov leaks. Hacked emails of Vladislav Surkov, the Russian architect of the so-called "Russian spring" in the Donbas and Odesa. rusi.org/explore-our-re…
This leak was a bomb several years ago, as it revealed how much the kremlin paid for the "people's uprising against bloody Kyiv regime". and the architect was Vladislav Surkov, one of the closest Putin's allies and a Russian.

"Putin was wrong to invade, but Europe and US should negotiate peace instead of fueling warmongering Zelenskyy" - this is the message I've been getting almost every day. So I decided to respond with a thread.
First of all, dear peacemakers, do you have a clue what are Putin’s demands for peace? I will tell you: Russia is allowed to invade and control Ukraine’s government, resources, and legislation for an indefinite time. 👇

Russian methodically destroys Odesa using anti-ship missiles against grain terminals, against civilian houses. Odesa is one of the most beautiful Ukrainian cities. It has ancient Greek, and Jewish history. Seen what they are doing, I want revenge for Odesa.
If you believe that Ukraine is to blame for all this happening. Google anti-ship missile and what it was made for. and then think that they are using missiles aimed to destroy air carriers at sea to destroy food aimed for export, and the people of Odesa, the historical center.

I also used to make fun of Ru soldiers. But then a Ukr fighter told me a story from Bakhmut, that shows that those convicts, chmobiks etc, are effective on the war front. "They go in waves like zombies. one after another, until you are tired of killing them, your gun jams.
This cannibalistic tactic of sacrificing their own people helps Russians to reveal Ukrainian gunmen positions. and then artillery comes. So yes, Ukrainians are better trained and have good weapons. But there are still fewer soldiers, and fewer weapons.

now that Ukrainian forces have to go through hectares of minefields to liberate more Ukrainian land, and we got what we got at the NATO summit, I hear more and more what Ukraine should have done. And that whenever it was doing, it still did it wrong. So small thread.👇
I usually hear that "Ukraine is a warmonger", just give up, you should have gone with the Minsk agreements and everything would be fine. But at the same time I hear, you were unprepared, why are you criticizing your allies now? they warned you and help you! 👇

"You are too affected by war", "You don't get it, Russians are also victims," and "it is easy for you to say, Ukraine has free media, while Russians had only propaganda for years." "Ukrainians are bullying Russians" - these are the phrases that cut my Ukrainian ear like a knife.
For years our region's countries were screaming Russians are killing us, and they hosted Eurovision, World Cup, Olympics. They got lucrative Nord Stream contracts, they enjoyed Western countries even though their special services were killing people there, meddling elections.

Ukrainian government and military continue covert operations to rescue people from the Russian-occupied left bank of Kherson. Today Russians shot at a boat with evacuees, 3 were killed and at least 10 were wounded. Source: Ukraine's president's office.
Meanwhile, waters of the Dnipro River partially flooded Mykolaiv region.

Russia and its supporters claim we deserve this horror cause we persecute and even kill ethnic Russians, and destroy their language. I read that as a person who can be considered an "ethnic Russian" and think of all the people like me who died after Russia came to my land.👇
People in Kyiv around me still speak Russian, which used to be my mother tongue. Now I can't hear it. But for them there's still no connection between the aggressor state and this language. 👇

54 fucking drones in one night. and people on Twitter discuss that if we can allow eating at McDonald's, it is not a real war. Ffs, we are a European country, a well-established state. We also have not only McDonald's, but other production going on, producing our steel, weapons👇
Imagine, we really need Western help, but we are getting it because we first show that we work our asses, fight on our own, run our state, and even struggle to reform during the war. Yeah, not perfect, but we are trying.

This story inspired me to write an oped. as once I shared the stage with Russians. And it was fucking awful. theatlantic.com/books/archive/…
Here, Masha Gessen's quotes perfectly illustrate the cognitive dissonance of all Russians who are against Putin but don't give a shit to understand why we don't want to be put on the same stage. 👇

Another sleepless night. As I was watching debris of Russian drones and missiles falling from the sky, I thought about all those nations, who donated great air defense systems to us. You can't imagine this feeling when you see those Ru death monsters defeated. Thank you all.
This surreal feeling of safety and fear at the same time. You wake up because of the sound of gods fighting in the sky above you. and then you get it that those are your people, using man-made systems to hit heavy monsters, full of spikes and explosives, also created by men.

I will avoid name-calling, but I can't help it...The latest stories about the Ukrainian counteroffensive in top Western publications give me chills. They've written as if we, our army, are not human beings. But some players that have to impress or deliver, make a good show. 👇
The overall partial coverage gives a disturbed picture to the reader. something close to Hunger Games. But where tributes are not even allowed to search for some hours of joy during war, cause that means they "spend western air partying". 👇

uf. After yesterday's refusal to comment, Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that Ukrainians shot down the unstoppable Russian Kinzhal missile over Kyiv in the night on May 4, using Patriot. Source: Air force commander Mykola Oleshchuk. t.me/MykolaOleshchu…
But before admitting it, for some reason, air force had to: attack journalists who reported it (Defense Express) for "helping the enemy", deny giving any comments, and deny it happened at all. Once again, our authorities are pissed they can't fully control info space now.

Small thread. Once again we had a sleepless night so I am angry. I am always angry and don't have enough time for therapy, but I have Twitter, so, hear me out about "escalation", "criticism", "endangering" and "retaliation" bullshit. 👇
1. When we see "beautiful minds" claiming attacks on Russia are escalation, what we hear: Russia can come, kill 26 people in one day, and shell supermarkets. But when a drone blows up an oil depot or somebody derails a train in Russia with no victims, it is escalation.👇

Russians made a special project on how they suffer away from home. They were pictured with things they took from home. Left Russian director Kirill Serebrenikov with his library in a cool flat in Europe. Right - a Ukrainian boy who rescued a cat. this is another fight. 👇
This is another very interesting aspect of war. While some Russians fight against Ukrainians, invading and killing, other Russians fight against us for who's the bigger victim. Russians think they are. as the world helps us more.

Situation: you are getting beaten and stabbed day by day by a very big guy. Your friends give you sticks while watching from behind a fence. Each time a stick comes when you're about to die. Before giving you sticks, friends say you must stay decent, must not hit him too hard.
There are some passersby who stand aside and scream at you to stop fighting and let him win. Cause it will be easier, and violence is bad. you prolong the inevitable. When you refuse and say "He'll just kill me", they scream at your friends to stop encouraging you.

Some people nowadays have a memory of a goldfish.
Yet stupid and absolutely cannibalistic "If West stops financing, it will be peace", is tattooed on the brains of so many. I want to repost this Russian initial plan for all of Ukraine: english.nv.ua/nation/kremlin…
"De-nazification will inevitably be expressed as de-Ukrainianization - the rejection of the artificially divided ethnic component of self-identification." 👇

The fact that Lvova-Belova was allowed to speak at the UN and I was called a satanist working for the CIA for just reporting a factual story in the same week, inspired me to write a thread about the eternal fight of sanity and stupidity:👇
We are so lucky with the invaders. As they came to liberate us, and they say they could have been a lot more vicious if they did not consider us a brotherly nation.👇

Russians want this beast to speak at the UN. Here she tells about how kids from Mariupol were cursing Putin and singing Ukrainian anthem at first, but "after some time they learned to love Russia".
