I was at the Preston North End vs Liverpool friendly, but everyone here is together in solemn grief at the sudden death of Diogo Jota & Andre Silva.
Even though it's not Preston’s player who died, they poured out tributes ... and made an effort to commiserate their opponents fallen comrade.

They played stirring a rendition of “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, even though it's not Preston's anthem.

Players from both sides donned black armbands. Preston’s captain laid a wreath in front of away supporters.
