I think she sort of misses the point that many facets of her identity also lead her INTO scams as well. she talks about how because she isn’t single or poor or lonely she’s not a typical victim but she doesn’t seem to see how whiteness made her susceptible.
to me, her whiteness was immediately evident by her inherent trust of the police, the FBI, the CIA. the whole fact that she would even believe that 1) the police were surveilling her with good intent 2) the police would actually protect her.
