Yesterday’s teaching was from Romans 8. I was touched by this verse.
“Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires” 🧵 Having spent a significant amount of time dealing with bullies and toxic people at work, I have wondered why I am compelled to make a stand. It’s because of my spiritual awakening. When you awaken, you no longer resonate with the selfish worldly attitudes of people around you.

Here are a few core principles of Ifa deities that put you at risk if you violate them. Bear in mind that the deities choose you. They most likely worked with your ancestors but were known by different names in different traditions. In this age, they are universal spirits.

Common Violations Across Deities:
Disrespecting natural elements tied to their domains (e.g., oceans, rivers) we always talk about polluting the waters
Ignoring ritual protocols
Ethical failurescontradicting their virtues (e.g., injustice for Shango, deceit for Orunmila).

While preaching on Sunday from Acts 11:1-18 where Peter is instructed by God to preach the gospel to the Gentiles, I had to re-read the scripture to make sure.
Peter was praying in Joppa when he went into a trance & received the vision of the animals being let down in a sheet. So the trance state, an altered state of conscious which enables one to receive messages from Spirit is not exclusive to one spiritual tradition. Even Christians go into trances. It is therefore not demonic.

The forest was quiet, cool & shaded. The only sound was the stream in flood after the rains. I picked up my staff, a sturdy branch not unlike that of Gandalf without the crystal on top. I held as I forded the stream stepping on smooth round rocks as the stream flowed around me. I challenged myself to keep my water shoes dry, not that I needed to. I managed to get to the other side without stepping in the water. Feeling pretty good about myself, I navigated the fallen tree branches and stumps on soft ground covered with fallen pine needles.

I’ve been exploring @mindvalley courses starting with Duality with @jeffreyallenjp. It has really taken my energy work to another level. The meditations are simple. I do them at night before I fall asleep. 😴 no longer need the prescription meds for my chronic insomnia. This was my daily reality at work for months. However, shadow work & more recently energy work has allowed me to be able to maintain my sense of self & self worth & not be overwhelmed by the bullying tactics. I found the strength to stand up for myself & keep going.

I used to believe that the worst casualties of corruption & misrule in Zimbabwe were the divorced couples, broken families & people dying needlessly because of lack of medical care. Now catching up on spirituality content, I think our humanity - ubuntu is the greatest casualty. Exhibit 1 -
Chenai was a slay queen who had an affair with a married man. The man’s wife went to a healer in despair after telling her to stop seeing her husband. The healer did the work & Chenai fell desperately ill. She apologised & asked for the healer to reverse the curse/

I learnt interesting things this week about energy, trauma, ancestors & karma. Energy is the active force that makes things happen. Trauma is the negative effects of energy trapped in the body when something happens to you. Ancestral trauma in your DNA manifests as karma. When something bad happens to you, you experience negative emotions like shock, anger & sadness. These arise from how you think about what happened, the meaning you give to the situation & the story that you tell yourself about it. This is what triggers the emotions.

My fundamentalist fellow Christians love to quote Deuteronomy 18 & 28 regarding divination, sorcery & witchcraft. This is a classic example of using biblical texts as proof to support one’s opinion. However it is important to understand the origin of the book of Deuteronomy. Deuteronomy was written by the priests during the Jewish exile to Babylon. This was after the siege of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Judah had been a vassal state of Babylon for years. The siege was in response to an ill-advised rebellion against Babylon by the king.

Good morning and Happy Sunday.
Learning that Satan also has his agents planted in churches as bishops, ministers & preachers, even prophets was mind-blowing but makes a lot of sense. It explains why certain evils are committed in, covered up and perpetuated by the church. Those who have experienced trauma due to what happened to them in church will understand. Just because the person wears a robe, a uniform or holds a position doesn’t make them holy. No one is perfect & we must all strive for holiness & have faith & work out our salvation.

The stories are coming in thick & fast.

What to do if you suspect you’re a victim of destiny-swapping.
Consult a spiritual healer you resonate with or go to a spirit-filled church for deliverance. You need to remove the accumulated negative energy & cut the spiritual cords that are used to drain your positive energy.

I believe there is a hierarchy in Satan’s kingdom just as you have a hierarchy in heaven because evil is highly organised & disciplined in its approach to corrupt the world. @mthandeni09 In the story of the destruction of Sodom & Gomorrah, the issue of homosexuality is said to have been the reason for its destruction. However, when you read the story, it seems the bigger problem was the violence. The men gathered at Lot’s house intending to rape his visitors.

I watched a pastor speak on a podcast on YouTube with the twins. She speaks extensively about the water spirit kingdom & how people go there & make covenants with the spirits to make money, gain fame or in the case of church pastors gain spiritual powers. Scary stuff. Her testimony is consistent with those of other writers who speak about the demonic water spirit kingdom. She quotes extensively from the Bible, the King James Version KJV, a favourite of Christian fundamentalists. She’s a seer, being from a lineage of healers - abangoma.

Mama Zogbe’s book The Sibyls tells how world religions:
1. changed God’s gender from female to male
2. plagiarised the writings of the Sibyls,
3. systematically destroyed their temples, 4. slew & sold them into slavery
5. rebranded them as witches to cover up the deception. The Sibyls were gifted African women, queens, priestesses & healers who performed miracles thousands of years before the birth of Christ & were sought after for their counsel by rulers

They settled in Europe & Asia establishing cities & temples worshipping the Great Mother.

@TsepZ_Chizzled It goes back to the light & dark side of spirituality. Sirens are destructive, they thrive on negative or low-vibrational energy. You could call them rogue mermaids, because they thrive on blood sacrifices. People talk more about the negative or dark side more than the light. @TsepZ_Chizzled There are more books about the evil, low vibrational water spirits where people go to the ocean & enter into covenants to be rich like charismatic church pastors who sacrifice their congregants among other things as part of these covenants. These last for generations by the way.

How will you know the God of your ancestors if you do not communicate with your ancestors?

Don’t get me wrong, I still love God the Creator, the Holy Spirit the Wisdom of God & the Son (Sun).

Christianity though flawed is actually African in its origin & we should reclaim it for ourselves. Many people particularly healers are averse to religion for good reasons. However I believe that we incarnate into this life to explore different paths to spirituality. Spirituality is the process of waking up to our higher self, the part of us that divine & is made in the image of the Creator. There are different paths, religion is one of them. Many of us are disappointed in the history of missionary Christianity & it’s part in colonialism.

As healers we need to be sensitive & responsible & ethical. You shouldn’t as a healer take advantage of a person’s desperation & tell them what you think they want to hear. If you’re not shown something say so.

I tell my clients honestly if I have not been shown or told something they are asking about. Information shared in a session should be for the person’s highest good.

Lately I have been urged to revisit my understanding of concepts of spirituality.
1. Spirituality is universal not culture-bound because we are all divine beings albeit with different gifts, missions & life purposes. The gifts enable accomplishment of the mission we sign up for. 2. The life purpose is not equal to the mission. As a light worker, my mission is to teach, to heal & bring hope. However my life purpose includes being a wife, a mother, all the roles I play in my life that are part of the path for my soul’s evolution, beyond the mission.

Having an ancestral & angelic spiritual gift can make your journey difficult. When you consult a healer with an ancestral calling they seem to only see the ancestral guides & can attend to them while a healer with a priestly calling can only see & attend to the angelic guides. However, this dichotomy was created by religion. In reality there is only 1 calling. The calling is to heal mind, body & soul by addressing ancestral and lifetime trauma & bring people closer to the Creator. We all have a desire to connect to something greater than ourselves.

Destiny Switching or swapping is a real thing. It arises from envy. People out there literally want your life & work with spiritual practitioners to swap your destiny with theirs. The good things you should get go to them & the bad things they deserve come to you. It sounds fantastic, stranger than fiction. You think your constant hardships are because life is just hard. However someone has siphoned your energy & is manifesting a fabulous life, money, career, marriage, children using sorcery. They are able to hide it for years too.

If I had known then what I know now, when God says “Be still & know that I am God” I would have done just that. Instead I was stressed, anxious & discouraged because I just couldn’t seem to stay happy & clappy like the other Christians I saw. I closed my eyes & felt disconnected

I was encouraged by @IyanlaVanzant in her book Value in the Valley. I was in the valley of the shadow of death, surrounded by darkness, under attack by evil. I wasn’t afraid but was frustrated because it seemed it was only me. What I was learning is that God never leaves us.
