Here’s what to know about the Glass fire Friday:
1.) The fire has grown to 61,150 acres and is 8% contained as of 8 p.m. (Map by Dennis Bolt) 2.) Evacuees in parts of Sonoma County and east Santa Rosa returned home when evacuation orders were downgraded to warnings earlier in the day. About 14,520 evacuees in Sonoma County remain, and it’s unclear when they’re able to return.

Here are five things to know about the Glass fire burning in Sonoma and Napa counties as of Wednesday: The blaze has grown to 51,266 acres as of 7 p.m. At least 36 homes in Sonoma County and 107 homes in Napa County were destroyed, and those numbers are expected to increase as damage assessment continues, according to fire officials.
