A tweet on doctors not discussing risks of medications with patients is getting some traction on MedTwitter. It's easy to criticise and say doctors should mention all risks and side effects, but it's not that simple. The nocebo effect is real. In discussing side effects we can induce symptoms that otherwise may not occur.
