During my Nysc, I got exposed to the learning conditions of this Orphanage school in Makoko.

I started using my Allawee to improve their classrooms by getting them education materials to get the kids excited about learning.

Also started teaching on my CDs days. My allawee wasn’t enough to do something large as it was just 33k at the time and I could do so little.

so I came on twitter to explain their ordeal and to seek for help.

We needed to help them get canoes to transport the students and how they don’t have clean drinkable water.

I stayed off campus during my third year. Like a rural area. And away from the hostel and school cos I needed to balance my CGPA.

It was lectures and book.

My landlord had one daughter that doesn’t talk. Doesn’t speak. She’ll just sit down under our soursop tree. I started joining her under the tree to read cos most times my friend Dey Dey around to play games.

So me and her we be there.

She doesn’t speak so me I’ll just read and for fun I’ll try to get her to talk.

Then I’ll go inside. I did this continuously for like two semesters.

Don’t arrest me oh.
But me I’ve still not moved on from the 160 million Naira car for each of the 360 Members in the house of rep.
I pray that this outrageous spending leads to the start of a movement where a significant portion of the Nigerian population understands that their leaders no longer represent their best interests, resulting in widespread disillusionment and a collective call for a reformation of the political system. These grievances accumulate over time, reaching a tipping point where me and you the ordinary citizens will unite, transcending their ethnic differences, and demanding accountability, transparency, and fair governance.

That time will come.

And I’ll be in the frontlines.

During my first year, I used to be very popular in Eni Njoku Hostel. We normally don’t have light during the day but Once it’s 7pm, generator comes on till like 10pm. But on this particular day, generator man didn’t switch on the Gen and 7 don knack..

I came out of my room with stainless plate and started hitting it on the rail shouting “Papa on that Gen” like cruise.
I have a really loud voice so it was echoing from our hostel to the next hostel. Little by little.. Room by room.. series by series, numbers dey add.

Some people are just evil and I learnt this hard way.
I received donations from Don jazzy, Ekitipikin and some amazing people on this app and I went to the community to do this Borehole project.
Keep in mind that this people don’t have access to clean water since like forever.

I went there with the intention of giving them clean water and also canoes to transporting the kids and every other thing.
I bought generator, fuel pumps and Gp tanks. Then got a contractor to come dig the borehole.

I’ve applied for grant for projects and didn’t get a response.

Every Finance I’ve used so far for any of my projects has been from my pocket and from good people on this app.

So if you want to be a symbol of change in your community, start something, Funds will come. You’ll be shocked.

I’ve written to LGA’s, International organization. Not a single feedback. But immediately I ask Twitter people, they’ll respond.

And this is because most of them were here when I started. At the time it was all my allawee I was using.

Today was my first experience with a special needs kid.

The mum brought the boy to the training ground to join us and at first I was wondering how he’d fit in as mostly as football pertains physical activity but after listening to the mum, I came to realize she wants her son to Grow with the other children. Like some form of inclusion.

I took the boy by the hand and asked him his name. Made him my assistant coach and he was super happy he had a spot on the team.

Made him in charge of Jersey and Ball and he’s was doing the job with smile on his face

I visited my Calabar friend downstairs yesterday and the mum asked if I wanted to join them for dinner. Normal me I’ll always say No but the scent from their kitchen was magnificent so I said yes.
I asked what’s the name they said “Afang”. (I highly recommend you try it) They brought Afang and Eba and I was eating and sweating.
The soup was too hot so I was focused on it. Being my first time tasting the soup, I was hailing the mum that she was a great cook.

I’m in this bus praying the Rosary like I do every morning. And this lady kept on staring at me.
After I made the sign of the cross she touched me and said “You do know you’re worshipping Mary”?

And I said Yes. I know. I worship her. Any order thing? Most times people tend to stir up religious conversations to prove what is and what is not.

Today being 8th of June 2023, we have officially cleared our Recycling dojo. Two containers are filled.

And Get this, over 128 kids would be going to school Free for two sessions!

There's this one of my Colleague that's always serving looks. Salary enter or e no enter, she's always dressing very fine. But since last week Tuesday, she has been roughing to work and it's not like her.. I went to meet her on Wednesday to ask how far with her what's going on.. She said she didn't know someone is noticing her and she collected my number and said she was going to tell me on the phone.

Got recommended for an interview at a research firm.. My strength is on SPSS and nothing really concern me with MS Excel. Cause everything you can do with Excel, I can do with SPSS or even more. But I sha included Excel on my CV... Got to the interview the test was on Regression and Correlation. Before they say Jack, I'm done. And I'm outside drinking water. They called me back in for one on one interview. The Interviewer was glancing through my CV and he said; You did a really good job with the test...

There's an Ongoing Protest in SriLanka right now. Protesters have taken over the presidential secretariat and the president is on the run. His residence has also been invaded. Look at the people guy!
The people of Sri Lanka are protesting due to high cost of living, Famine, Hunger, poverty and against corrupt government officials.

Up by 4:18am thinking about our Quater finals today and an idea just came to me.
What if we had an exhibition match between the Boys and Some people from Twitter ? For fun?
To show them that a whole lot of people are rooting for them.. caus normally the work no be for one person. And we can also have people speak to them afterwards the game on how they can be positive influence to their communities.

Since I have nobody to complain to, let me kukuma complain to you people on Twitter.
Like many people know, I've been spending my weekends with boys of 9-15yrs old playing football.
To them they're having fun, to me it's a means of stoping them from joining gangs... and inadvertently giving them a sense of purpose in life curbing the agbero Continuum.
What started with only four grew to about 46 children. Grateful for people who turned up to help out with refreshments during trainings. And those who donated boots and kits. ♥️♥️

Left this party early this morning and before I got to where my bolt driver was, I saw an iPhone on the floor. I pick am so as to fit return am to the rightful owner.
The phone was locked, but I no say the owner must call. I reach house.. plugged the phone for light so e no go die.
I just wake up now and like 24 missed call.. before I go do sign of the cross, the number called again so I pick up.
This werey didn't even say good morning.. just dey ginger..
So me I cut call.
