I screamed this morning. Here's the story.
I am in a sleep-awake state in bed at 7am, when I hear a pitter-patter sound in my room. The curtains move.

My heart takes a pause-- decides to not pump blood so that my brain can focus on the (disappointingly soft) scream.

3 Things (amongst many) I could have done differently as an NRI
1. Upgraded my car 2. Made fewer acquaintances 3. My bank is not a current account

Don't fall for the desi guidance of 'keep your car for 100k miles to get max value out of it' . I had a honda civic & hated driving. Wish I had upgraded earlier.
I got a V6 Accord very late and ended up moving to India in 6 months of enjoying that car :)
