I've read Dele Farotimi's book from the beginning to the end I was not surprised.

First, the story of his resignation from Justice Oyekan-Abdullahi's firm due to unbridled pride and need to lord his intellectual sagacity over a typist sets the scene for the rest of the story. He spends so much energy in describing how he started his legal practice, but says NOTHING about how he came about the case that led to his fight with Babalola.

I would never have believed the book was written by a lawyer if not for the publicity surrounding his arrest.

Segun was employed as a staff at the Ibadan Branch of the defunct Cooperative Bank (now Skye Bank).

Between 2004-2005, he stole over 1.8 million naira belonging to a bank customer named Dorcas Folashade by diverting her cheques into his personal account.

A THREAD. The Bank found out about this and issued him a Query by its letter dated 6 December 2005, raising 10 questions for Segun to answer concerning his participation in the illegal withdrawals from the customer's account.

During my Law School, I sent money to a girl to visit me twice, but she didn't show up.

I slid into her DM on Twitter and made my intentions clear to her. We flirted and later agreed to meet each other.

But she lived in Lagos and I was far away in NLS Kano at that time. She then agreed to visit me in Asaba when I started my law school externship, because Asaba was closer to Lagos than Kano.

As soon as I arrived in Asaba for court externship, I sent her 30k for her tfare (to & fro). She was to spend the weekend with me.

TRAPPED IN GIRLS' HOSTEL🙆‍♂️😂

I once went to visit my babe in the female hostel at the University and we both slept off.

I woke up by 9:32pm and there was serious problem because guys were not allowed in the hostel beyond 9:00pm. 😭😭

A THREAD!! My babe peeped outside and saw girls were already naked. She told me I am finished if I come out.

She suggested that I should wear her clothes and cover my face with a long hair tie and walk out of the hostel like a lady but I was scared cos I was gonna see many naked girls😔
