You’ve probably seen domains like:
âžş
google.com
âžş
wikipedia.org
That last part- .com, .org is called a TLD (Top Level Domain).
It’s basically the “ending” of a domain that tells you something about it.

In Web2, TLDs are limited:
.com is for companies
.org is for organizations
.ng is for Nigeria
.edu is for education
But what if communities could own their own namespace?
