Of course, I have to tell you all what happened this morning.
It was indeed traumatizing but as someone who is already familiar with police harassment, this ordeal didn't catch me by surprise.
Nigeria really prepares you for the worst but this is definitely not how to live. 💔
So, this morning, I was stepping out of my house.
I was actually at the main gate. I was about to open the gate when I saw that someone was outside. He greeted me and I responded.
Then he said, "I am a NEPA official."
I'm like, "Ok, how may I help you?"

So back to my Ile Kewu experience.
Just as I said earlier, I spent the early years of my life living with my grandparents on Lagos Island (Apongbon) before grandpa finished his own house in Itire.
It was a big polygamous family house with plenty of children. It was fun tho!
There were cousins and step-brothers and sisters all in one big house.
I was particularly staying with my grandma - a proper Alhaja and staunch member of Ansar-Ud-Deen. My dad is a Christian but had no problems with me staying with my grandma.
One big family, yea?

This story is still one of the craziest experiences on my trips. One that I can never forget. 🤣😂
Sometimes ago, I had an assignment in Zambia and we set out as usual. You know, fly from Abuja, transit in Addis Ababa for one night and then head to the final destination.
I was there with a former colleague. Let me just call him "my guy".
Everything was smooth. We left Addis the next morning and landed at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka.
Zambia, no doubt a beautiful country with so many potentials.

Boys don go report AbokiFX to Emefiele. So, Emefiele has gone after AbokiFX.
Now that the backlash is cooking, a thread will drop from Woye to diffuse the tension. 😂🤣
The thread will try to explain the ridiculous reasons for the attack on AbokiFX.
The thread may have in its bullet points; how AbokiFX is not a registered company or how it was registered as an Ewa Agoyin company 1935 but veered into Forex news.
It may also list AbokiFX as a criminal enterprise used for money laundering and dollar round-tripping.

Not sure I've ever felt helpless like I did yesterday & I'll share the reason with you.
People need to understand the difference between the Nigerian government professing Ease of Doing Business on paper but doing the opposite in real life.
Let me show you in a short thread!
So, on Thursday evening, I got home from work to see missed calls on my phone.
I checked and it was my Automobile Engineer, Mrs Joyce Dayser Adams. So, I called back but her line was switched off.
I could not fathom why she had called but I sent her a text immediately.
