Facts about Christmas:
1. Traditionally Romans celebrated the day of the winter solstice on 24th December with a feast.
2. Around 290 CE Diocletian, being the sun worshipper added yet another holiday called the "Feast of the Sol Invictus" to the Roman Calendar. 3. In council of nicea, one of the debated topics was about the birthday of Jesus, as there were no historical records of his birth. The only surviving materials were the 40 odd testaments most of which were written years after Jesus's death.
