Since people asked.

This weekend the Strixhaven League Weekend is happening. The name is a bit confusing, because no Strixhaven cards will be legal, the set comes out next week.

I'm currently tied for 2nd, 1 point behind first. 12 rounds, 1 win = 1 point.

1/3 1st after this weekend goes to Worlds and locks their MPL slot.

The format is complicated.

Rounds 1-3 and 7-10 are Standard, rest is Historic.

At the start we get pooled into 3 groups of 8. The pools change after every format change based on current standings.

It's been two years since the 2019 Mythic Invitational, the biggest Magic tournament ever. It had the biggest prize pool, the biggest twitch numbers and it was the first big Arena tournament. The production value was insane, the event was hosted by Day9, it was a great watch. I did well. I remember getting multiple messages from people I haven't talked to in years, telling me that they're watching this tournament, and that it looks awesome. I felt like a rockstar. Before the top 4 matches started, the War of the Spark trailer was about to premiere.
