1. Today we’ll share some info & resources on financial assistance for funerals & ways to eliminate unnecessary costs.
In the US the median cost of a funeral is $8,500, making it completely unaffordable for many. Paying for funeral expenses leaves many people in funeral poverty 2. From 1986 to 2017 The Consumer Price Index recorded a 227.1% increase in funerals - that’s double the price increase of ALL OTHER CONSUMER GOODS in existence.

Is financial assistance available? In some cases, yes.
