Look I get that some people prefer ‘Autistic Spectrum Condition’ to ‘Autism Spectrum Disorder’, but if that’s really the most important thing you have to worry about or argue over you are absolutely NOT involved with or supporting the Autistic community...
...We have kids without a suitable school, kids being excluded from education for being autistic, people unable to get a diagnosis, CAMHS services so stretched children are severely self harming without support, kids unable to get an education health care plan to support them...

@nitawhite1@ja54kki I think everyone should feel optimism for the future, but we really need to talk about the huge disparity between these young people, and those at other points on the ‘spectrum’ - particularly those who are non-verbal, need constant 2:1 supervision and all their care needs met...
