The Midrash (Esther 10:5) states, "When Haman led Mordechai on the king's horse through the city's streets, what did Haman the rasha say?

rav weinberger once shared an amazing story about rebbe aharon of belz zy'a:

The Belzer Rebbe was a tzaddik yesod olam. When he escaped Europe, he settled in Tel Aviv. Not Yerushalayim, not Bnei Brak, Tel Aviv. A bunch of the elder chassidim came to ask the Rebbe to come to Yerushalayim. What was he doing in Tel Aviv? The Rebbe wouldn’t hear any of this. Groups of chassidim would come to be with him for Shabbos. It happened that one time one of the chassidim was upset…

What was it like in the [Soviet] labor camps?

They were days of light.

Are you speaking euphemistically?

No, I mean it simply. Those were the most inspiring days of my life.
