We're halfway through this huge #COP28, and so much has happened that it's impossible to summarise it all in one post, but here are 8 essential updates:

Phasing out coal. oil & natural gas is on the agenda and a serious possibility. We’re still a good way from agreement though.
Over 100 countries back phase out but many do not, to varying degrees. Reaching the final text will be a huge task. [2/11]
