@BenGoldsmith Largely an achievement of previous governments, which set up the FIT and RO that were the drivers of decarbonisation. They were slashed under recent governments, which has massively decreased deployment of the cheapest forms of low carbon energy. eunomia.co.uk/reports-tools/… @BenGoldsmith Here's what's happened to onshore wind. The capacity entering planning has dropped off a cliff as planning restrictions have taken hold in England. Sites with planning approval were still being developed in 2017, but they're a finite resource.
