Phase I development of Swargadwar in Puri, comprising of construction of 28 Pyres has been completed by @PWD_Odisha through its PSU @OBCC_Odisha. The same has been made functional today. The project was approved by Hon’ble @CMO_Odisha under CMRF. @OBCC_Odisha @CMO_Odisha The Focus now on 2nd Phase of Work, which will include the construction of Shankracharya Cottage, the Administration Building, Waiting spaces, Toilet Block & other facilities. Further, work on beach road in front and also development of beach in front of Swaragdwar to be taken up

To strengthen the health infrastructure in Odisha, Hon'ble @CMO_Odisha has approved the development of a 650 bedded Teaching Hospital at Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College, Koraput on a 10-acre site under @MoSarkar5T. The process for setting up of site office etc has started. Work on construction of buildings will start by 15th June.

The development plan of Taladanda Canal Road from Jobra To Biribati was reviewed. The project envisages the development of Canal Embankment Road of about 12 km connecting @SCBMCHCTC with Cuttack-Paradeep road. ImageImageImage @SCBMCHCTC In the 1st Phase, the project from Jobra to Ranihat Chowk was completed. Now work is going on in the field for the 2nd Phase from Ranihat Chowk to Bhubneshwar- Cuttack NH. As of the 3rd Phase, preparation of DPR for work from NH to Biribati is going on.

Today, Dr. Krishan Kumar @Krishan_Kumar09, Secretary @PWD_Odisha along with Sri Ashish Thakare @DistAdmKeonjhar, and other officials reviewed the project work & pre-construction activities for the 2.8 km long Joda Flyover in Keonjhar. ImageImageImageImage @Krishan_Kumar09 @DistAdmKeonjhar The work has started in the field in March 2021. The site issues are to be addressed in the next three months. The flyover - longest being done by Works Department will be ready for use before the end of 2023.
