In RTI replies dated 31.3.22, @MoCA_GoI said the DigiYatra Scheme (paperless air travel using facial recognition) will be integrated with Aadhaar, driving license, PAN, passport, & CoWIN. Your data is soon going for a turbulent ride only to save a few minutes at the airport. 1/4 The RTI requests were filed with @AAI_Official. As per the responses, the tech will be used from August 2022 where a total of Rs 165.43 Crore will be spent over 7 years on 4 airports- Varanasi, Vijayawada, Pune & Kolkata.
