I’ve been living and working in Japan for more than 24 years, and my family is coming to visit. These are ten tips I wrote them to keep in mind when touring Japan ↓
① Don’t pack the day schedule. I don’t care what Chat GPT suggests - it’s too much. Those four things recommended are all great, but once you get to the area you will find there is twice as much to explore. Take your time and do half the items.Asakusaka, Sensoji. ② Tokyo is HUGE. All those little burbs you skip between Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Shibuya are in themselves full of things to do, and with less tourists. Get off the train, avoid the hubs and you will find a much more authentic experience. Image
