I still don't know what Abe's assassination means for Japan or the region (and neither do you - be humble), but this is a first and very early crack at a few of the trends that could be in play and what to watch for:

Here’s the thing. It’s correct and important to point out Abe’s nationalism and attempts at revisionism. But you need to acknowledge that the chief and lasting accomplishments of his tenure were liberal rather than revisionist.
