If Quran is from a divine being, why didn't it's author correct unscientific misconceptions of the people living in 7th century Arabia? Instead of correcting them, why did it proceed to present a pre-scientific, 7th century view of the natural world? If Quran is from a divine being, why did it's author describe in detail how to chastise a disobedient wife, but prescribes no verdict for pedophilia?
