I didn’t share their views, but I needed to challenge myself to discover blind-spots in my thinking. At that time, these two mostly represented support for the prevailing Covid narrative, with a few important distinctions - they had previously demonstrated:
1.a willingness to speak unpopular truths
2.a dependable shift in position when confronted with new information
