was false" It concerns document where Mann falsely claimed to have lost massive sums of money but later "corrected" to smaller amounts ($9m downto $112k). It looks like jury was shown false figures. Judge called it "stunning" that it was presented to jury

He is suing Mark Steyn (and Rand Simberg) for defamation after they called his graph a fraud. Just listen to Simberg's lawyer Victoria Weatherford demolish him: Mann said he did not gather the data for the Hockey Stick.
