Ohio turnpike: A plow truck jettisoned a wall of slush into oncoming traffic, shattering the windshields of at least five vehicles and sending one into a ditch. I managed to swerve away from the heaviest part but was blinded and narrowly missed being punted by a semi truck. Then another (or the same?) plow truck slapped all the cars pulled over on the shoulder with slush again while waiting for emergency responders. Somebody needs to get fired.

Michigan Trump supporters do the “MAGA dance” at a parking lot rally in Walker. Three Republican hopefuls for congress and one running for governor here. Patrick Colbeck, one of the loudest proponents of voter fraud claims, calls the 2020 election a “coup.” He later suggested there’s still time for judges to overturn the result.

At one point during a "Michigan Against Vaccine Passports" rally in Lansing yesterday, there was discussion of "5G radiation" being used to push back immigrants at the southern border. Michigan for Safe Technology organizer Jeanine Deal explained how her activism around "wireless radiation" overlaps with anti-vax movement.

"There's a lot of things that correlate with the vaccine choice issue. Just because you can't feel it doesn't mean it's not doing harm."

.@GovWhitmer set a goal of vaccinating 70% of the state before ending mask requirements. Ryan Kelley, a Republican seeking to challenge her in 2022, disputed vaccine safety at a rally in Lansing.

"I don't want to be a guinea pig, and I don't want any of you to be a guinea pig." Kelley called COVID-19 vaccines "experimental." Safety trials were completed before FDA approved their use. He said parents don't want children to be a "guinea pig." Vaccines aren't available for people under 16. Pfizer recently asked FDA to expand use for 12-15 age range.

Kelley, often flanked by armed paramilitary groups, spread misinformation about COVID-19 and called for the arrest of government officials he labeled traitors.
