I've done SERPs analysis long enough to know why some posts fail from a SEO and content standpoint.

If results on the SERPs is going after /example-my-post, you'll lose SERPs equity by adopting a URL that isn't close to what's in the SERPs.

It's even worse when your URL is lengthy, plagued with dates, and has many characters like "a, for, the, and," etc.
