“A riot is the unheard” is a quote you will hear quite a bit, but that quote was not Martin Luther King Jr. expressing support for riots. Indeed, he makes it clear in his remarks that he condemns them, but he makes it clear that the riots are a symptom of a much larger problem. This is going to be a long thread.

1. No more taxpayer money to any property owned by Trump’s family. If he wants to go to his Florida resort, he can foot the bill for the Secret Service himself. 2. The full DREAM act including permanent codified legal status and a path to citizenship for those under the age of 15 when they entered the country.

For those of my followers who were disappointed O'Rourke didn't win: We can take a moment to recharge, but I want you to recognize what the Democratic Party of Texas has done this election cycle.

O'Rourke closed the gap in Texas by 13%. I count at least seven congressional seats in Texas that Democrats can view as targets for 2020. Seven seats! That could flip the Congressional delegation from Texas from red to blue. We will also have only two seats we would need to defend.

My heart is broken for America. I mean that. My heart is broken. We have gone through too many terrors, too many tragedies, and all in a matter of days. What is there to do but be broken of heart? This isn't a rhetorical question--I do not know the answers here. What I do know is that on Wednesday a man walked into a Jeffersontown, Kentucky supermarket--having already been turned away from a predominantly black church--and shot and killed a black man before shooting and killing a black woman in the parking lot.
