This morning I'm mainly remembering that the last war we saw in Europe - albeit one too hastily forgotten about now and perhaps too easily dismissed as a civil war - lasted eight years (from 1991 to 1999) and claimed well over 100,000 lives, and saw over 2 million refugees.
A couple of people (very constructively, I should add) made what I thought was a fair point about Kosovo's representation on the map above, so see next couple of tweets for better alternatives.

72% of grassroots Tory members, compared to 68% of Tory voters, voted Leave. 79% think we made the right decision in 2016 – including a quarter (26%) of the (23%) minority who voted Remain.

83% of Labour members voted Remain in 2016. And 89% think, in hindsight and irrespective of what they themselves voted in 2016, that the UK was wrong to vote to leave the EU.
