"The American Revolution" created and directed by Ken Burns is garbage and has nothing to do with the American Revolution:
Thread 🧵 1/9 At 12 hours long, one might have expected a comprehensive and insightful analysis of what was the greatest revolution in human history. Such is not the case.
2/9 There are a couple of giveaways right off the bat. Titled The American Revolution, the numerous “voice actors” employed in the production include a whole slew of Hollywood personalities who notoriously suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, including Jeff Daniels, Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Liev Schreiber, Mandy Patinkin, Edward Norton, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson and Ethan Hawke, among many others. Trump haters each and all.

President Trump has demonstrated that success requires throwing off the mental chains by which the British Empire has ruled the world. Don't just leave it to President Trump. All of us have to break out of the foreign mental straightjacket. A good start is purging these 9 warped words and concepts from our thoughts and discussions.
1 Capitalism:
The American System of Political Economy is not "capitalism." Franklin, Washington, and Hamilton didn't use this term. It was first used by a French socialist in 1850 and later by Karl Marx. Abe Lincoln responded: "Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed." Our system is the fruit of human discovery, creativity, entrepreneurship, and production.
