Across the world, there are perhaps 50 companies and government projects aimed at controlling fusion reactions to steadily produce a surplus electrical output, or rocket thrust. Several are already designing or building the reactors which will begin to produce power for paying customers. And, just as there are many different types of internal combustion engines, we can expect that commercial fusion reactors will also be of varied designs for varied applications. So, why did the Trump team decide to use TAE to implement their fusion crash program? 2/8 Early in 2025, TAE demonstrated the unique ability to “create, heat and stabilize an FRC [Field Reversed Configuration] plasma using only neutral particle beams.” Since the 1970s, Promethean Action and its predecessor organizations, including the Fusion Energy Foundation, have continuously promoted the idea that the shortest path to commercial fusion power would require the use of a plasma’s own magnetic field to confine itself. Rather than using brute force from the outside, it would be simpler and faster to make use of a plasma's own internal magnetic fields to compress itself. An FRC is such a “self-organizing” configuration.

1/9 At 12 hours long, one might have expected a comprehensive and insightful analysis of what was the greatest revolution in human history.  Such is not the case. 2/9 There are a couple of giveaways right off the bat.  Titled The American Revolution, the numerous “voice actors” employed in the production include a whole slew of Hollywood personalities who notoriously suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, including Jeff Daniels, Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Liev Schreiber, Mandy Patinkin, Edward Norton, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson and Ethan Hawke, among many others.  Trump haters each and all.
