@AtlRey In Joe Biden voice: Here's the thing man, the IRA isn't really going to reduce inflation that much, but as inflation spiked, a bit higher than expected thanks to Putin and his war, as predicted in the spring/summer of '22, it will also fall as predicted in the late fall/winter of
@AtlRey '22/23. The IRA is actually an environmental and tax bill that places the funding of environmental change action on corporate America and rich tax scofflaws, as it should be. It also gives a lift to working class families and small businesses. And puts a bit of a squeeze on

This also 1/@ParkerMolloy launching wars to protect oil markets and bump the military industrial complex. Frankenstein however, could not control his creation and since they were singularly focused on making the wealthy wealthier at the expense of the rest of us, did not foresee the rise of Trump 2/

@SherrodBrown@GOP This is a combination of the corporate tax breaks being used to do stock buy backs instead of raise employee payroll and the $1B in increased steel expenses thanks to Trump's tariffs. A middle class tax break would of made more sense, as the extra buying power in average 1/@SherrodBrown@GOP households would fuel the economy, raising corporate stock rates (so the rich fucks still get theirs) and giving us economic leverage over China and other trade partners, rather than getting into a trade war.
