Felt reluctant to post this on the day itself, but I do think it’s incredibly important for psychologists to acknowledge 9/11. Every psychologist should be taught about their profession’s role in torture at Guantanamo Bay. /thread Guantanamo Bay is a deeply shameful episode in psychology’s history, and its comparative recency means that we cannot hide behind narratives of ‘things have changed’ or ‘we’d never do that now.’
