My family eggnog recipe originated (reputedly) in New Orleans during Prohibition. It has four different liquors, a dozen eggs, a pound of sugar, and a half gallon of cream.
Ingredients
4 cups Blended Whiskey (preferably Canadian)
2 cups Brandy
1 cup dark Jamaican Rum
1 cup light Puerto Rican Rum
1 dozen eggs
1 pound sugar
1 quart whole milk
1 quart heavy cream
