Here's a picture of me directly after having my shunt placed. I was so scared and tired. Having IIH you hear so many horror stories about VP shunts and all I could do was hope this device worked. Five months post op I can confirm is still works. Image Here's me two months post op. I had no clue what to do with my hair as it started to grow back in. I was incredibly insecure with how my body looks now as it had new scars. I'm thankful I could trust Kelsie to do this shoot of me. Image

Hi, the disability community just lost someone who was dismissed and ignored by doctors. You may feel like we're drug seekers and that the doc had a right to refuse but frankly I am so tired of seeing and experiencing this shit. If your patient ends their life bc you won't 1/? Treat them I feel as though you should be prosecuted. This is murder. She went through the proper channels. She wanted pain management. She was fucking denied in Colorado of all places. This doctor should not be allowed to practice anymore. I'm angry, tired, and disappointed.
