People who swore they rode for me, loved me, would die for me quickly & repeatedly showed me the truth they really stood on just to go out to a shitty dive bar or a cafe

I’m lucky I don’t have long covid, but I changed my entire life & career to avoid getting sick. So much grief

I feel so sorry for Gen Z because the way people treat me in non-professional spaces (ie when they don’t know me as Pierre the therapist) is bananas

So insulting, patronizing, & disrespectful because they think I’m in my 20s

And it’s worse now than when I was actually in my 20s I wear a mask everywhere & people can’t see my face and get a better sense of my age so they assume I’m a younger Black man and boy do I get treated like shit

I say things & some people will tune it out because they think I’m so much younger & they basically admit to it later
