On the 12th day of Christmas the pine trees gave to me,
12 clocks of iron, each one running perpendicular to an hour of the day, keeping track of all the minutes my mind lingers in the past, and sounding golden chimes when it’s time for me to live my life in the present again We now return to one of my favorite holiday traditions, the 12 Days of Christmas. There is an exclusive version of it in the Quiet Pine Trees book, along with more than a hundred stories not found elsewhere!
Merry Christmas everyone, and a happy new year.

Tomorrow begins an annual holiday tradition for Quiet Pine Trees, one that I look forward to all year long. If you want to see all the previous incarnations, and other song lyrics I’ve written, you can pre-order the new Quiet Pine Trees book!
