Bhendi Bazaar has nothing to do with Bhindis. Infact, it was named after an area which was located behind the Crawford Market and was called ‘behind the bazaar’, which over the years became‘Bhendi Bazaar’.

Today Google is celebrating the great Indian wrestler Gama Pahalwan. Here are some offbeat things I read bout him. To start with the real name of "The Great Gama' was Ghulam Mohammad Baksh Butt. As per some accounts, Gama Pahalwan was born in Amritsar and his workout routine included 500 lunges and 500 pushups while he was just 10 years old.
