#SonicFrontiers still has a decent foundation.
But honestly, there needs to be more incentive to explore the "Open Zones."
(Collectibles, missions, NPCs, secrets, quests, hidden bosses, story, etc.)
Like why is "fishing" stuck to a seperate area outside the open zones?
Why can't I look for a body of water on one of the the islands to pull out a rod and fish? What if different bodies of water had different species of fish? Gives more freedom & reason to explore the island!
What makes a Sonic Adventure game a Sonic Adventure game? And why is Sonic Adventure 3 so significant to the fanbase? I see people desperately hoping for an SA3 and I feel like it means different things to people.

Let's list some similarities between the 2 games:
- Both feature Yuji Uekawa's 2D promotional artwork on the boxart.
- Both contain multiple playable characters with their own "intersecting storylines & gameplay styles."
