Some interesting points to be noted for devotees of Tirumala Balaji temple:

1. Lord Balaji appeared self-manifested at Tirumala hills, in an iconic form, to bless the mankind and this icon was first discovered by Sri Gopinatha Deekshitulu, the first priest Tirumala temple 1/5... around 5116 years ago during the start of Kaliyuga.
2. The sacred golden dome over the Sanctum Sanctorum of the Balaji temple is called 'Ananda Nilayam' meaning its the definitive place on earth which constantly showers eternal bliss to all the visiting devotees.
